".........However,
one does not loose consciousness of doing this "voluntarily", while one
does it.
The
mystery of all of this happening, is that there is something someplace,
in some internal space of each one that dictates (dicta - mina) an order,
an intensity, a balance, a harmony and then, the "thing" comes to be and
one has only to take distance, back off, contemplate and say goodbye.
The "theme" to be designated as the idea to be painted, colored, irised,
has been taken from some legend, some myth of some story, giving it at
times a certain sense of humor, one not always explicit.
In reference to stories, something similar happens in the process of "creation"
even though the text and not the theme may be a pretext, and in this there
may not be a "visualization" as direct as in the painting.
One accomodates these elements, makes adequate time, characters, situations
and characters: these will be in charge of personifying the basic idea,
they cannot run from nor evade human escence, the hidden forces that push
us and force us to take action and react in a determined form, fatal.
These forces are internal giants of the soul: love, hate, anger, fear...
Within this "doing" painting, or writing, there is a great passion and
the dedication therein, produces an indescribable sensation of pleasure
and intimate satisfaction.
I believe what has been said is the basic essence, to partly assume this
attitude, this human act impossible to decipher.... intrigue and mystery
which force and eternal question and answer shall persist, and then, personally
I shall only continue painting and writing."
